PSI Agriculture and Wine

The Paardeberg Agriculture and Wine workgroup will engage on issues specific to wine farming in the Paardeberg region. Subjects to be addressed will include the correct management of agricultural waste, organic farming methods, the developing a Voor-Paardeberg appellation for Paardeberg wines, and ways in which wine farmers can reduce their carbon footprint. A number of Paardeberg wine farmers are already organic farmers or members of the Biodiversity in Wine Initiative (BWI).
