PSI Preschools and Aftercare

Pre-schools and aftercare facilities in the Paardeberg region are generally under-resourced and serve economically marginalized communities. The Paardeberg Preschools and Aftercare programme raises corporate funding to train additional teachers from the community, to provide aftercare for children with working parents, to improve physical infrastructure, to assist children with homework, and to provide additional educational support where necessary. It is currently being guided by Dr Jurie Joubert, previously of the Centre for Multigrade Education. Scholarship funding is constantly being sought to encourage promising learners to complete their school education.
